Defo interested in progress and method on this - particularly your folder naming method.
I have an ocean of images, but generally scattered across hard drives and do the late night trawls based on memory recall when I know there’s an image I’ve collected that would do today’s job!
Not efficient, but often rewards with a stumble across something else that nudges my thinking.
Loved this and would love to hear and see updates of your archive progress!
In one of my first jobs, some 12 years ago, I was tasked with digitising a physical paper archive of fashion research, and then recycling all the paper after. I scanned 100s of sheets of paper and anything I adored I would put in a separate pile and take home.
Some of those visuals I still refer back to and love, love the tangibility of the images and the fact they are not on my hard drive, but in old ring bound folders.
Thus, I started my own ‘physical’ archive whilst digitising another.
Such a great idea, will def do this!
💗✨
So good. You bet I'm keen to get updates on your world of scans, snaps and scribbles. Yes please!
Oke noted!! I’m so excited to collect things from my upcoming travels 😍
Thank you!! On a side note, do you have a recommendation on a compact-ish scanner?
“Already blessed by the feed” and “ look away from the feed” are kept in my eye archive from this one 🤍
